8 Ball Hand Steering for Overdrive kayaks

Feelfree 8 Ball Steering System is a rudder control kit that enables steering of Overdrive kayaks. It can be used with the Beaver Tail Rudder as well as with the Smart Track Rudder.

But what is the need for a need a different rudder steering system? Kayak rudders are usually controlled by feet – using the toe-control clips attached to the footrest.  This is not going to work for pedal-drive kayaks as you’ll be using your feet to propel the boat.

Feelfree 8 Ball Steering System contains all parts and hardware for the installation, or for upgrade. Watch the installation videos below for tips and advise.

The 8 Ball Steering System is one of the Overdrive Accessory. To convert LURE 11.5 or LURE 13.5 kayaks to Overdrive system you need the following:

• 8 Ball Steering System (hand steering)
• Beaver Tail Rudder
• Seat Adjuster – to help adjust seat position
